At Taylors Ice Cream Bike, our family-run business is dedicated to bringing joy to special events in Devon and Cornwall, through each and every scoop of our luxury, farm-fresh ice cream and sorbet, served from our two Vintage Ice Cream Tricycles.
About Our Beginnings
So, we (the founders of Taylors Ice Cream Bike) are Helen and Hayley, and our daughter’s name is Taylor – hence the name of our company. Based in Ivybridge, Devon, we have always enjoyed visiting Surfing Cow for ice cream since Taylor was a young girl. We absolutely love it!
After reminiscing about our wonderful memories, the idea of buying an Ice Cream Bike to serve our local community came up in conversation. Initially, it seemed like a crazy idea, but it soon became the highlight of our days. We enjoyed discussing the name and brainstorming all the fantastic ideas we had as a family. Then, we made the decision to order our bike from The Cargo Bike Company, which was ready within two weeks.

With a combined 25 years of catering experience from our time in the Royal Navy, we got busy preparing all the necessary paperwork for our exciting family adventure.
